Rapid sheet metal prototyping
When the part is small and the schedule is not.
For suitable enclosure, panel, bracket and equipment-part projects, CertaShift reviews the drawing and builds the prototype through established in-house sheet-metal and CNC capacity. Specialist finishing is managed under the same project plan when required.
Send a drawingWhat to send
A drawing is ideal. A clear starting point is enough.
Send 2D or 3D files when available. Include material, quantity, surface finish and delivery ZIP code. A PDF, reference image or sketch can start a feasibility discussion when CAD is not complete.
Initial feasibility review is free. Detailed drawing changes and formal DFM work are quoted when needed. For a deeper fabrication review, see our sheet-metal DFM services.
One piece is valid
A single prototype is a valid project when the drawing, material and schedule fit the available plan. There is no artificial quantity threshold.
Risks first
We identify access, assembly, fastener and surface-finish questions before the production plan is fixed, so an urgent request does not become a hidden rework cycle.
Records while moving
Progress photos, measurements and production feedback can be shared while decisions still matter, rather than only after the shipment is ready.
About the 72-hour targetIt is a practical option for suitable small prototypes after the drawing and requirements are confirmed. It does not apply automatically to large cabinets, special materials, complex weldments or multi-step surface treatment. Those projects receive a clear project-specific schedule.
